Mr. Power is a distinguished senior executive with 25+ years global business experience leading major organizations to exceptional growth.
Experienced in global operations, multi country business management, strategic planning, business development, product marketing and merging/streamlining organizations. Unique ability to operationalize strategy across diverse cultures and geographies to achieve revenue, profit, market share and overall business goals.
Most recently as Executive Vice President, Wyeth Mr. Power developed and implemented a global business strategy to improve productivity, drive process standardization and reduce costs.
Prior to this Mr. Power managed a number of businesses for Wyeth including Managing Director-U.K./Ireland, President-Europe, Middle East, Africa; a $2.5B business encompassing 15 affiliate companies and 5000+ employees and President-International; a $5.5B business encompassing 35 affiliate companies and 12,000+ employees. Leading these organizations Mr. Power consistently achieved the Company’s financial goals and outperformed versus the overall industry.
Mr. Power’s broad base of experience is complemented with a bachelors degree in statistics (concentration in business economics) from the State University of New York and a masters degree in biostatistics from the Medical College of Virginia – Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mr. Power has further enhanced his experience as a board member of several organizations including Biovail Corporation, European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI).
Mr. Power is widely recognized as a solid business professional and an individual of the highest level of integrity.
