Research Interests:
Professor Iacobucci conducts geeky statistical and methodological quantitative psychological research, building models of measurement (e.g., coefficient alpha as an index of reliability, structural equations models for international data bases on customer perceptions of value), and parametric structure (e.g., extensions of statistical tests for mediation analyses, building core models of networks structures and dyadic interactions).
Iacobucci also studies customer satisfaction and qualities of services marketing, e.g., how does the customer experience differ when interacting with a frontline service provider (e.g., retail, professional services, etc.), compared with the purchase of consumer packaged goods and durables. Further, what do marketing managers need to understand about these differences to facilitate their corporate strategy successfully.
